Color Coded Breaks
Highlighting
The Timesheet uses a TixTime specific technology of break highlighting to facilitate easy identification of employees who need to take breaks.
Thresholds
Four levels of color-coding exist, gray, green, amber, and red. When an employee is thirty minutes early or late for their break time the arrow will show green, after thirty minutes it will turn amber, and another thirty minutes to red.
Improve Utilization
During periods of low utilization and high availability it is easy to scroll through the Timesheet and find which team members can be sent for break. During low availability and high utilization periods breaks may be delayed until they are red. Break highlighting offers an easy way to equally distribute breaks amongst team members.
Break Tracking Mode
Breaks can be tracked either on time out only or on time out and time in. In time out only mode the time the employee left for break will be logged. If time ins are also tracked you also get the benefit of the total amount of break time taken. This can help to make payroll more accurate when accounting for unpaid breaks.
